In keeping with our mission to promote gastronomy, we maintain this page so that members may share favorite dining establishments with visitors to our city. The following are current favorites.

Andrew Tepper - Vice Echansan:
- For fine dining, Donato Coluccio will prepare a special 12-course tasting menu at the Steelhead Brasserie. Wild flavor combinations, dramatic presentations, perfection.
- For unbelievable roasted meats, try "Green Forest" in Penn Hills. A procession of up to twenty cuts of beef, pork, lamb, duck, and other meats is brought out, and bite-sized pieces are carved tableside. Their wine list is marginal, but they may allow BYOB with a small corkage fee.
- We have a number of good Japanese restaurants: Kiku, Sushi Too, Koto-Buki, Tokyo, Umi. Of these, I enjoy Umi the best - very traditional, ultra-high quiality.
