Dear Confrere et Consoeurs:
Think back over the years. What hotel has hosted some of the most memorable
Chaine Gala's in Pittsburgh history? Well, get ready for another superb
culinary treat at our next Chaine Gala, at the Doubletree Hotel. Doubletree
General Manager Joe Kane has given the OK for his culinary and service
teams to show us all what they can do. This team knows what we want and
has done it before! So come, be the lucky benefactors of this celebration
of fine foods and wonderful wines.
Doubletree Executive Chef William Soriano and Executive Sous Chef Rocco
Pisera are veterans at orchestrating Chaine Galas. And Banquet Manager
Scott Buehrle has some front of the house surprises planned, and assures
us that it will be our pleasure to feast at The Doubletree. So be prepared
to enjoy a spectacular evening. Plan on arriving on Tuesday, September
28. Our reception begins at 7:00 p.m.
This will be a black tie event, with decorations in order. May I please
have your reservations by September 15. Address them to my attention to
avoid any post office confusion. The cost is one hundred ten dollars ($110.00)
per person per member couple, and one hundred twenty dollars ($120.00)
per guest. Guests will be accommodated on a space available basis.
