Dear Confreres Et Consoeurs:
I am pleased to announce our next very special Chaine gala for the first
time ever, at St. Clair Country Club. This grand evening will be Monday
Night, October 27th, 1997 at 7:00 p.m. at one of the most elegant Clubs
in the area.
Hosting for the first time you ask? That distinction goes to the property,
but not to the people. Club General Manager Barry Garrett CCM, has personally
experienced the Chaine when he was at the Houston Country Club in Texas.
And the St. Clair Country Club's Executive Chef, Vincent P. Sanzotti has
prepared Chaine Dinners as Executive Chef at major hotels. So come prepared
to enjoy a very elegant evening of wonderful foods and wines.
This will be a black tie event with decorations in order. May I please
have your reservations by October 13th, 1997. Address them to my attention
to avoid any post office confusion. The cost is one hundred ten dollars
($110.00) per person per member couple, and one hundred twenty dollars
($120.00) per guest. Guests will be accommodated on a space available
basis. Valet parking will be provided.
Founded in 1916, the Club is named after General Arthur St. Clair, who
fought in both the French & Indian War and the American Revolution.
For over 80 years, St. Clair Country Club's reputation has been synonymous
with the very best in club life. Now, Barry and Vince are excited to demonstrate
their collective gastronomic expertise to the members of the Chaine.
I look forward to seeing you at this wonderful evening at the St. Clair
Country Club!
Vive la Chaine!
