One night, One place, One time!
A world class, as good as it gets, these guys can go head to head with the best of them, night. To showcase Pittsburgh's rich culinary depth.

This adds up to an accumulated total of 343 years of experience. Is it true what they say about too many cooks????? It is safe to say that never has a team with this much experience been brought together before. Now that I have your attention, I am pleased to announce our final Chaine gala for 1998 at The Concordia Club, on Friday night, November 6, 1998 at 7:00 p.m. See the enclosed brochure.
Maitre de Table and Concordia Club General Manager Patty Charlot is anxious to host us with the style and ambiance that only she can provide. The Concordia Club's culinary and service teams are poised and ready to support our "All Star Cast of Masters." You won't want to miss this one!

Oh, did I mention the menu? It's classified, of course. But our "Master Chefs" have been creating since March. Really classic, really yummy (technical term). Oh, did I mention service? As elegant as it gets under the direction of our "Master of Service."

Oh, did I mention wines? Mumm's Cordon Rouge, an elegant Corton-Charlemagne, a very good Gevrey-Chambertin, an aged Chateau Talbot, a rare Sauternes, and others. Our "Master of Wines" has been working on this for months!

Oh, did I mention National officers? Flying in especially for this evening is the # one Chaine officer in the USA, Burt Hobson, his Chambellan des Etats-Unis Jeannette Boucher (real important, too), and the top senior Chaine officers responsible for Gastronome. Yup, Pittsburgh is hosting it's first national Chaine meeting. These people have their plane tickets from Maui, Texas, Seattle, St. Croix, Georgia, Florida, etc. Since they are the team that does Gastronome, it figures that this event will be a feature article. Lots of pictures. Come ready to be seen by every Chaine member in the USA.

This will be a black tie event with decorations in order. May I please have your reservations by October 24, 1998. Address them to my attention to avoid any post office confusion. The cost is one hundred forty five dollars ($145.00) per person per member couple, and one hundred fifty five dollars ($155.00) per guest. I have a feeling that this will be a popular one, so if it interests you, respond NOW. The world will only get one chance at this, so don't delay. If you have a seating preference, let me know. Guests will be accommodated on a space available basis, your understanding, please.

So take a look at the attached, respond quickly, and see you at The Concordia Club! One Night. One Place. One Time! Not just a Chaine gala, but a national event.

Vive la Chaine!
