Chef Mark F Henry has over 30 years of experience as a Chef, Restaurateur, culinary instructor, and ice carver. Mark’s career started as a fine artist and sculptor, having worked in restaurants to put him through art school. During that time it became clear that being a “culinary artist” would become not only a life-long goal, but also his passion.

Having graduated with High Honors from the Culinary Institute of America in 1990, Chef Mark came to Pittsburgh as Chef Garde Manger for the Vista International Hotel. In the Western Pennsylvania area Mark has been an Executive Chef, Ice carver, lecturer, educator, consultant, and full service caterer, actively supporting the culinary community and doing charitable events for over 20 years. Chef Mark has sought to understand international cuisines, in order to master American cuisine at its root. Chef Mark has achieved regional and national recognition as an Ice sculptor and culinary artist, having won gold in National Ice Carvers Association and American Culinary Federation events.
